Kelly Tarlton’s is only a 10 minute drive or six kilometres (3.7 miles) from downtown Auckland.
Directions
Coming from the Southern, Northern, or Western motorway, take the Port exit and follow the road until reaching a T-intersection (ports of Auckland will be directly in front). Turn right onto Tamaki Drive. Kelly Tarlton's is located on the right-hand side of the road (after Hammerheads restaurant).

Free Shuttle Service
**UPDATE: On Sunday 22nd April there will be NO MORNING SHUTTLE SERVICE, due to Tamaki Drive road closures. The first shuttle will aim to depart 172 Quay Street at 10am on Sunday 22nd April.**
The regular Shuttle Service is as follows...
- 7 days a week Kelly Tarlton's operates a FREE shuttle service from downtown Auckland!
- Shuttle departs from 172 Quay Street (opposite the downtown ferry terminal).
- The shuttle runs on the hour, every hour, from 9am until 4pm, with the final pick up from downtown being at 4pm.
Please note: after the 4pm pick up there are no return drop offs - however there is a public bus stop close by, please see below. Shuttle service may be subject to change depending on traffic and circumstances.
Car Parking
Free car parking is available in the Kelly Tarlton's car park, and on Tamaki Drive, subject to availability.
Public Transport
Stagecoach buses depart from Britomart Transport Centre every 15mins, 7 days a week. Bus Stop D13 - Tyler Street. Allow 20-25 minutes. Bus prices are from $3.40 per adult (subject to change).
Auckland Explorer Bus
Departs from the Ferry building (City Bus stop # 1).
Chartered Coaches
Drop-off is at the entrance and free parking on the waterfront. Kelly Tarlton's offers all drivers a free admission on the day their passengers visit (driver ID must be shown).
